Stacey Scherling is the director of business development at Better Homes And Gardens Real Estate By The Sea. Having joined the team in July of 2021, she is known around the office for her upbeat, friendly, and welcoming personality, and of course, her daily ritual of afternoon tea with a piece of candy or a cookie. Stacey loves the Monterey Peninsula, and she is excited to join a team that values family and community as much as she does.
An attendee of the University of Redlands, Stacey majored in Liberal Studies and minored in Communicative Disorders. In college, she was also the president of the dance team and her sorority.

After graduating in 2006, Stacey entered the world of HR. She is particularly expert in dealing with recruiting, employee benefits, and leave of absences. Relocating to the Monterey Peninsula in July of 2013, she began teaching barre exercise classes at CarmelBarre, which she continues to love doing.
Deciding to re-enter the workforce after dedicating eight years to staying at home and raising her two sons, Stacey earned her real estate license in October 2021.

She and her husband Josh, who grew up on the Monterey Peninsula, are the proud parents of Jacob and Jordan. During her spare time, Stacey enjoys spending time with her family and friends at the beach or frequenting her favorite local restaurant, The Bench. She also maintains an active lifestyle by doing her daily morning Peloton rides and teaching barre classes.
