Austin Cooper joined the team at Better Homes And Gardens Real Estate By The Sea as a junior showing agent in September 2021. With a passion for working in sales and with homes, he is known amongst the team for his robust work ethic, efficient communication skills, and always being eager to help others. When it comes to his clients and their experience, Austin puts all his focus into what is most important to them and meeting their expectations. It is his goal to deliver results and make the process as seamless as possible.
A graduate of California State University, Chico, Austin has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with an emphasis in Strategic Personal Sales. After college, he became a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and worked for several years with award-winning wine lists at renowned restaurants in the Carmel area such as Casanova and Aubergine. An esteemed Sommelier, Austin was the recipient of the Walter Clore Scholarship for being Best in Class for the Certified Sommelier exam.
Austin has always been drawn to meeting new people and aims to deliver a curated, unique experience for clients, skills that he honed as a Sommelier. In addition, he is experienced in construction, has a love for homes, and knows the importance of families having the home of their dreams. When Austin was presented with the opportunity to merge his passion for homes and sales with Better Homes And Gardens Real Estate By The Sea, he enthusiastically took it.
In March of 2021, Austin became a Licensed Property and Casualty Producer, and he obtained his Real Estate Salesperson License in November of 2021. His focus will be the Carmel, Monterey, Pebble Beach, Seaside, Marina, and Pacific Grove areas.
Austin married the love of his life, Mekayla, in July 2021. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, going on bike rides and hikes, and bonfires at Carmel Beach with Mekayla and their Bernedoodle puppy, Bowie. Since he was nine years old, Austin has actively played flamenco, Spanish, classical, and Mexican music on the guitar, even performing in restaurants at the young age of ten.
